:) :) :) :) :) :) 12/5/08

Hello everyone.  Mom is coming home again today and feeling good.  Mom has no hair now and is looking like a better Britney Spears.  Her spirits are up and she is feeling cheery.  She now has a beautiful mac laptop which has made the world to her with music, videos, online connection and lots and lots of love. Thank you to all for your support and kindness.  Have A Great Day!!!!!

Hi Ms. B! We just celebrated Julia's birthday with delicious treats that Lara brought in to share. Julia wanted ChaChaChas AND OoohLaLas. Here are some comments from the class:
We're working really hard in math.
Hi and we miss you.
Hi my HomeySkillyBiscuit.
Hola!
Alot of people are doing cat's cradle with strings.
We are all finished with our first reading group and now have already done a week of our new groups.
Group 3 got the most table points this week: Sara, Lindsay, Delaney, Nicole, and Riley S.
We have almost finished "Looking for Bapu" (Ms. Stewart can't find the underline)and will vote on the next read aloud book soon.
Ms. Friesan taught us a new math game called "Division Top It".
Today is Spirit Day and most people wore school colors which are Royal Blue and White - alot of people thought yellow was a school color too...
Hope to see you soon...Otay?
Otay!!
Word.
Peace Out.
We Love You,
Room 22

Dear Ms. Barnicle,

Guess you got our "room 22" comment, HomeySkillyBiscut! (By the way, not my idea!)
I'm glad you're doing really well. Every day I think in my head 'I wonder how Ms. B is doing?' But I know you're doing good.
I can't wait until I see you again!
Just remember I have you in my prayers and heart.

Love,
Lindsay

Dear Lynn,

I only learned of your illness last week and want to thank Colin for setting up this blog to keep us all posted. After trying to figure out for the past week how to post a blog, I finally realized I can post a comment much easier (it takes some of us technologically bereft folks a while). You are a wonder. I have always known you to be kind, compassionate, beautiful (on the outside and in), full of warmth and grace, and a fantastic, inspiring teacher. Now, I can add courage to that list. Know that we think of you daily and are rooting for you. Gus is sending something to your home.

Love,

Marilyn, David, and Gus Mears
